Salem captures what analysts know about cyber threat, right where they already work, in enterprise chat

What is Salem Chat?

Salem was designed as a chat-first application. Salem leverages chat messages in Microsoft Teams and in Slack to inform security analysts about validated threat activity, right when it happens. Salem works in this way to find the right people who can take action, right where they work.

Analysts can react and respond to threats right from the Salem chat notification, as well as collaborate with peers and partners in group chats that Salem is a part of.

Viewing alerts in Chat

When Salem identifies a threat, it will send a message to individuals and groups where Salem has been added and configured to report threats. Analysts have access to all Salem learning features, as described in Train Salem right from the threat notification message.

To view other alerts in Salem chat, send Salem a new message "menu", to view a portal-like menu of options. From there, you can view the alert menu and search for or view the latest alerts.
