How do users add Salem to a chat?

To enable Salem notification in a group chat, team chat, or channel, simply add the Salem app to that group, team, or chat. Salem will prompt users to confirm if they want to receive new threat notifications in that conversation. This functionality proves especially useful in an MDR relationship as described in the Salem Threat Notifications to MDR overview.

To add the Salem app:

1. Navigate to the Apps sidebar option in either Slack or Teams

1. Navigate to the Built for Your Org section and add the Salem Cyber Analysts app
